Dr. Luz Torres Educational Consultant

Dr. Luz Torres has worked in diverse leadership positions in New York City serving as Senior School Improvement Specialist, administrator in Fordham’s Partnership Support Organization (PSO), Youth Development Director, Clinical Supervisor of School Social Workers, Center Administrator of a GED program, and most recently as a Community School Director of a middle school in the Bronx. Dr. Torres has her Doctorate in Education from Fordham University, a Masters Degree in Social Work and a Masters Degree in Education with a focus in bilingual education. Her research interests focus in multicultural and culturally-responsive education.
